Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what personal information is collected on this site, why, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Québec’s Law 25.
What we collect
What you voluntarily provide through the contact form: name, email, company, approximate budget and the content of your message. Only with your consent, browsing data is also collected by the measurement and advertising tools described below.
Why we collect it
Exclusively to respond to your request. We do not sell or rent this information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.
Cookies
A cookie remembers your answer to the consent banner, so you are not asked again on every visit. Google Analytics cookies (audience measurement) and Meta pixel cookies (advertising) are set only if you accept the matching category. You can change your choice at any time through the “Privacy preferences” link at the bottom of every page: cookies from a withdrawn category are then deleted.
Audience and performance measurement
We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, along with Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our host Vercel Inc. They count page views, where visits come from, device type and region, and measure the loading speed visitors actually experience. Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise a returning visit, but never receives your name or email, and its advertising cookies are turned off. The Vercel tools set no cookie. These tools load only if you accepted the measurement category in the banner: if you decline, no measurement script is downloaded by your browser.
Advertising
If you accept the advertising category, the Meta pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Inc., is loaded. It tells us whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits or contact requests, and lets us show our ads to people who have visited the site. Meta receives the pages viewed, technical information about your device and browser, and an identifier stored in a cookie. The content of the contact form is never sent to Meta: only the fact that a request was sent. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Transfers outside Québec
Google, Meta and Vercel may process this data outside Québec, including in the United States. That is why these tools are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Retention
Information submitted through the form is kept for as long as needed to process your request, then securely deleted or archived.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by writing to info@ikigaidev.ca.
